WHY PAIN OCCURS AFTER ROOT CANAL TREATMENT??

Root canal treatment is removal of the entire infected nerve portion inside the tooth, even after this it is normal to feel pain in the area for a few days after the treatment. This occurs as a result of a natural healing process.
             
GUIDELINES FOR POST TREATMENT CARE:

• Intake antibiotic and pain killer correctly as prescribed by dentist
• Do not chew or bite on treated tooth until you have it restored by your dentist
• If the tooth is restored with temporary filling it is common to wear off in between appointments.
