So adequate removal of plaque and food debris should be carried out.
Dental flossing should be done daily.

HOW ZIRCONIA DIFFERS FROM METAL CERAMIC???

The metal ceramic by name itself has two components metal part and ceramic part fused to each other at high temperature whereas the zirconia was brought up as a  single metal.
As days goes on the metal ceramic crown tend to show a dark line near the gums and affects the esthetics
The zirconia crowns being a  single metal avoids this dark line.

What is a Deep bite???

Deep bite is one of the altered bite having most damaging effect without any  change in external appearance .
 Before going to deep bite  we need to know about normal bite.

                         

• The Normal bite is the contact between the teeth in the upper and lower jaws with the parts of the TMJ joint bone in the relaxed position which is a healthier one.
• Without any damaging effects towards the teeth and its supporting structures.  

Deep bite is the one in which there will be a increased contact of your upper teeth over the lower teeth also hurting your gums and supporting structures.

Not only hurting soft tissues can create jaw joint pain as duration goes on will lead to headache, facial muscle stiffness.

Confident smile in 2 days

There are various techniques available for replacing the missing teeth.
Based on the present clinical status  the method of replacement may  be decided  either by dental implants or the dental bridges or the removable dentures .

This blog deals with a case of missing teeth replacement by Dental bridge  in a 58 year old female patient who  lost her  front teeth due to an injury.
She was supposed to face difficulties like hiding the smile ,decreased speech etc and in need of replaement

The adjacent teeth support is sufficient for replacement by Dental bridge.
The teeth adjacent to the space are intentionally reduced in their size to get crowns in the form of bridge without root canal.

Worried about gaps in between your childs teeth???

In general spacing is a condition that will be considered normal only in childhood days i.e.primary dentition.
Spacing may be of generalized or localized.

IDEAL SPACING:

Our milk teeth are the first set of teeth to appear in oral cavity .
These teeth usually differ in certain aspects from the permanent teeth,namely the width,composition etc
They are usually smaller than the permanent teeth and there will be of jaw size to accommodate both sets of teeth.
Due to this variation there will be of spaces in between the milk teeth.
These spacing between the teeth is present  to accommodate the future teeth.
These spaces sometimes will allow the foods to get deposit and create cavity.
Care should be taken by brushing your child teeth.

WHEN THE SPACING NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED??

There are certain habits such as
                                                   THUMB SUCKING

                                                   TONGUE THRUSTING

                                                   MOUTH BREATHING

                                                   LIP OR NAIL BITING
