"MY CHILD DON'T NEED DENTAL TREATMENT BECAUSE MILK TOOTH WILL FALL ANYWAYS"
Oral hygiene should start at a very early stage.Milk tooth serves as a natural space maintainer for the permanent tooth. They provide necessary space for the permanent teeth to line up under the gums and grow in proper position. Moreover decay in the primary(milk) tooth if left untreated has a large chance of affecting the permanent tooth.
"SUGAR IS THE ONLY CAUSE FOR CAVITIES"
Cavities are caused by combination of factors like bacteria in mouth, frequent snacking, sipping sugary drinks , not maintaining proper oral hygiene. Bacteria in your mouth from sugars, carbohydrates and other food particles produce acid that eat away tooth enamel. It's the carbohydrate that have the sugars to breakdown your teeth.Maintaining good oral hygiene and reducing the intake of sugary & refined foods can reduce cavities.

Smokers are more susceptible to gum infections and blood flow to their gums are impaired which cause delayed wound healing. They are more susceptible to decay because of their reduced salivary flow. Smokers also have high risk of mouth and lip cancer.
